
Dr. Ahmad Alhouti is an experienced consultant in adult gastroenterology and hepatology with over 21 years of expertise in managing gastrointestinal and liver disorders. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Kuwait University in 1997, followed by American and Canadian Board certifications in Internal Medicine (University of Toronto) in 2010 and a Canadian Fellowship in Adult Gastroenterology in 2013.
Dr. Alhouti has extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and treating peptic ulcer disease, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, liver and pancreatic disorders, gastrointestinal motility disorders, Celiac disease, food intolerances, and performing endoscopy and colonoscopy with therapeutic interventions. His career includes serving as the Staff Gastroenterologist at Farwaniya Hospital, Kuwait (2013–2020), and as the Head of the Gastroenterology Unit at Farwaniya Hospital (2020–present).
