His Excellency the Governor of Farwaniya, Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah, welcomed in his office this morning at the Farwaniya Governorate’s General Office, Professor Said Abdel Hakim Rateb, CEO of Sidra Kuwait Hospital, Mr. Abdullah Taleb Al-Bukhait, Administrative and Government Relations Director of Sidra Kuwait Hospital, and Mr. Muteb Al-Faji, former Mukhtar of Al-Andalus suburb.
His Excellency the Governor welcomed the distinguished guests, and during the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation to serve the governorate’s residents through effective community partnership and the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors. His Excellency emphasized that the alignment between government and private sectors contributes to providing unique quality services, which helps improve the level of healthcare provided.
For his part, Professor Said Rateb praised the efforts of Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi Al-Sabah and his close follow-up of the health sector in the governorate, and his keenness to ensure that various segments of society benefit from the distinguished medical services provided by Sidra Kuwait Hospital. Professor Said also announced that Sidra Kuwait Hospital has launched an initiative that includes several special offers on medical services provided, in support of the community and to facilitate access to specialized healthcare for cooperative society shareholders in Farwaniya Governorate.
It is worth noting that Sidra Kuwait Hospital is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) for service quality and patient safety, and has recently gained the trust of the American Surgical Review Corporation, which renewed its accreditation as a Center of Excellence for endoscopic surgeries, obesity, and gastrointestinal endoscopy.
